Friday, February 14th - All NFSD schools are on a 2-hour delay due to bad weather and hazardous road conditions. Schools will start 2 hours later than the normal Tuesday-Friday start time, and buses will pick up approximately 2 hours later than normal. Breakfast will not be served.

Important Information: Routine Safety Drill Near Connell Elementary on December 11th
Dear North Franklin School District Parents,
This message is to inform you that the Department of Corrections (DOC) will be conducting a routine safety drill on the morning of Wednesday, December 11th. This drill will take place in the neighborhood east of Connell Elementary School, in the direction of West Davis Street.
Please be advised that this drill will have NO impact on our schools.
During the drill, you may notice an increased presence of law enforcement in that area. This is a planned part of the exercise, and there is no cause for concern. School will proceed as normal on December 11th, and students, parents, and staff should not be impacted.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the district office.

Congratulations to Miguel Martinez as Middle school league MVP. 8th grade cross country runner at OJH. Had one of the best middle school XC seasons ever in North Franklin. Not only is he a great runner but also outstanding leader and teammate. Looking forward to great career ahead.
Students from Basin City Elementary will be performing a 6-minute Unicycle & Diablo Show during half-time of both the girls' and boys' basketball games this Saturday, December 7th! Come watch as they showcase their skills, determination, and student leadership while “wheelin” around on unicycles or flinging diablos in the air!
