Connell High School principal, Bill Walker, has announced his retirement, effective July 1, 2024. Mr. Walker has worked in education for 33 years, with the majority of his career working in the Naches School District and the last 5 years working in the North Franklin School District at Connell High School. “I have enjoyed coming back to Connell (1986 CHS graduate) and seeing the growth and progress the district has made and continues to make. The staff and students at Connell High School have been wonderful to work with and reconnecting with families has been special,” Walker stated. He plans to spend more time with his grandkids and children, as well as a little more time fishing. A trip to Disneyland with his family is planned in the future. Superintendent Jacobs will immediately begin the process for hiring a new principal.
