The North Franklin School District Board of Directors met in executive session on Monday, April 22nd with search consultants from Northwest Leadership Associates for a presentation of the superintendent candidates. We are pleased with the pool of applicants who are interested in serving as the next Superintendent of North Franklin School District. We have selected two candidates to proceed with final interviews on Saturday, April 27th. The finalists will have the opportunity to tour the North Franklin School District and meet with stakeholder groups, including administrators, staff, community and students. Stakeholders will be able to submit feedback through an anonymous feedback form. The specific times for stakeholders to meet the candidates will be announced on Wednesday, April 24th.
In the afternoon, the finalists will interview with the Board during executive session; it will not be open to the public. After completion of the interviews, the Board will discuss the feedback and qualifications of each finalist. The Board plans to hold a Special Board Meeting on Monday, April 29th to present a recommendation to hire for approval of the new superintendent.
The candidates selected for final interviews are Mr. Robert Elizondo, Superintendent, Touchet School District, and Mr. Brian Moore, Assistant Superintendent, Richland School District. We are hopeful about the future of our district and are grateful for the wonderful candidates who are eager to serve North Franklin School District.
