Recent case increase in Benton-Franklin County resulted in the Benton-Franklin Health District (BFHD) recommendation for schools who have not started in-person instruction to pause their return to school. However, the BFHD is allowing school districts like North Franklin School District that have already been in school to continue with in-person instruction. In consulting with the BFHD, they have recommended the following measures:
\r\n- Increased emphasis and enforcement on masking\r\n
- Increased emphasis and enforcement on social distancing\r\n
- Recommended adherence to the governor’s recommendation on self-quarantining upon return if you have left the state or country
Please remind your students that their compliance with these recommendations is important for NFSD to continue in-person instruction. Parents please continue to keep your children home if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive.
