3/7/19 NFSD is operating on time.
As of 5:30 this morning, most roads throughout the district are good to go. There are still some icy spots along some roadways so, remain cautious and drive at a safe speed. If there are any changes in the weather or the road conditions we will update you through social media and the district web site.
ATTENTION: Due to bad weather and road conditions, all after school activities have been cancelled for today, Wednesday, March 6th. There will be no activity busses.
NFSD is operating on time this morning (3/6/19). School District transportation staff members and administrators have been out driving roads in all areas of the district to assess them this morning. The roads are slippery in places due to a small amount of snow accumulation, so if you are driving or if your student is driving please travel at a safe speed. At this time we do not anticipate a delay or cancellation . The district supports any family’s decision to not send their child to school because of weather conditions. Those students can receive an excused absence when they return to school if they bring a signed note. If you determine it is not safe at your specific location, please do not hesitate to stay home.
Congrats to Silas Chase and Austin Smith on making the state all-tournament team. Silas was named to the 2nd team and Austin to the 3rd team. Way to go boys!!!
Congratulations Girls! Academic State Champs for 1A Girls Basketball! These Lady Eagles had a 3.938 GPA as a team!
