SCHOOL CANCELLATION (2/26/19)
Due to continued hazardous weather and road conditions, NFSD Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 26th.
We want to congratulate the Girls Varsity Basketball team on being awarded the State Academic Champions for 1A Girls Basketball with a GPA of 3.938 for our 12 girls!!!!! They will be recognized this Saturday at 3pm at the Yakima Sun Dome during the state championship game. Way to go girls!!!
NFSD schools will be releasing early today due to hazard road conditions from high winds, drifting snow and additional snow in the forecast. Elementary schools will release at 12:45 pm and secondary schools will release at 1:15 pm.
Our boys battled against #1 ranked Lynden Christian but came up short. Next up we battle arch rival Royal in the 2nd round of state this Wednesday at 9 pm at the Sun Dome in Yakima. Come and support our boys as they battle for some hardware!!!
Tough loss for our girls against Freeman last night. Great season though ladies!! You've made us proud!!! Special thanks to our lone Senior Mattie Mauseth!! You added a lot to our program and school. We will miss you!!

Our girls play this Friday, February 22nd against Freeman @ West Valley HS in Spokane at 8 pm. Our boys play Saturday, February 23rd against Lynden Christian @ Mt. Vernon HS at 2 pm. Go support our kids in their quest for hardware at state tournament. Go Eagles!!! 🦅
Congrats to our boys wrestling team on their 13th place finish at state. Also congrats to our individual finishers- Johnathan Magana 2nd place, Jay Ramos 2nd place, and Jekoby Tuttle 7th place. Way to go boys!!!
